North Park Group invests in small and middle-market manufacturing and distribution businesses across the United States. With deep backgrounds in manufacturing and a track record of transactions across a range of investment structures, we bring an operator's perspective to every company we acquire. We work alongside management and employees to strengthen the foundation of the business and position it for sustained growth.

Target companies will have the following characteristics:

Industry

  • While we are industry-agnostic, we prefer to invest in light manufacturing businesses with B2B sales into multiple customer segments.

Profitability

  • We prefer businesses with EBITDA between $500,000 and $10,000,000

Management & Talent

  • One of our core tenets is to keep the employees in the business post transaction. We prefer not to make any management or employee changes.

BUSINESS MODEL

  • We are interested in businesses that are predominantly manufacturing and/or distributing durable goods.

LOCATION

  • We are geography-agnostic provided the business is headquartered and has most of its employees in the continental U.S.

OWNERSHIP

  • Because of our interest in long-term investments, we are averse to acquiring a business held by private equity or a hedge fund.
